10 gallon red wing crock

Question:
In my Grandfathers basement I have found a crock that has the Redwing emblem on it and a "10" (10 gallons?) on it. I know absolutely nothing about crockware. Can you give me any info about it? Unfortunately I didn’t take a picture of it, but I told my Mom I would see what I could find out about it. Thank you so much for your time.

Answer:  We need a bit more information about your crock to give you a vlue for your piece including the size of the wing, what the oval says, if it has handles along with condition. Please email to director@redwingcollectors.org and I would be happy to provide you with information regarding your grandfathers crock.

20 gallon, 8 gallon crocks

Question:
Looking for information on a 20 gal Red Wing crock. Good condition. Brown interior, built in handles, blue single flower painted on crock along with the number 20. Stamped/indented directly below the flower at the bottom front of the crock is: Redwing stoneware Minnesota (in an oval). It has been in our family since the early 1960′s however I have no history of it prior to that time. We also have two 8 gal crocks, one with wire and wood handles, the number 8 stamped on it, an actual red wing stamp and a blue stamp with company info. the 2nd 8 gal has molded handles, the blue stamped 8 and two blue stamped leaves along with a blue stamp with company info. I will be having the photos converted to a disc so I can send them at a later date. However based on the general information provided, what can you tell me about these crocks? Thank- you for your time! Karolynn
