Question:
My husband received a red wing pottery vase it seems to have pussywillows on the front and a green glaze on the inside of the vase. It is stamped in blue in a circular stamp on the bottom of the vase with red wing union stoneware co. red wing minn. Any idea of its worth? Thank you for your help! Kerry McCue
Answer: Hi Kerry, I think you have a "cat tail" vase, from around 1930. Part of Red Wing’s early art pottery called Brushware. Value is around $100.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose

This vase has Red Wing U.S.A. and number 1103. I was interested in the value of this vase.
I have been trying to find out what this item’s offical title is, with not luck. It is listed under "ink stamped" on one web site, but that is all I have been able to find out about it. Can you help? The bottom appears to have 179 on it.
Here is the bottom of the piece. J.S.

Yesterday, I asked this, but got no reply. This vase is numbered 1376, I think. It is in great shape, has a light violet interior and specked egg shell shiny glaze. Can you tell me when it was made and what it\’s value is?? Thank you so much – Christine
