Question:
The black crock in the attached has two handles, one on each side, which look like a swan’s head/neck continuing the winged body on the side of the bowl. It is approx. 4-1/4 inches high and 4-1/2 across the bowl. The bottom has indentations and multiple dot designs, but nothing clearly distinguishable.

Can you tell me who made this, its functional purpose and approximate value? Thank you!

I recently bought this 3 gallon bee sting crock, but it is not marked, although it appears to be Red Wing and salt glazed. Can you confirm and give me any additional information on the age, maker, and value? The crock is almost 11 inches tall and 10 inches wide. It appears to be in great condition, not much in the way of discoloration and no chips or cracks. A dark brown dripping on the front…I think they call that a turkey dripping?
