Hi Attached you will see the jug that I just purchased at a garage sale, just wondered if you could enlighten me a little about it. The bottom is well worn, but I can detect Red Wing stoneware on the bottom, its faint but its there. Thank you Diane

when my great grandfather paaed away i was lucky to recieve his moonshine jug. it is brown on top and white on bottom with a corn cob cork it also has a symbol of a five pionted star with the number 5 in the center written in colbalt blue. im pretty sure its 5 gallons. im having a hard time gettin some info on it if there is any information u could give me it would be greatly appreciated. thank you….maranda

Question:With respect to the Red Wing chamber pot, I neglected to mention that the hairline crack is approximately two inches in length and is on the top of the chamber (the part into which the lid fits). Does that still limits its value to the number you quoted.
