Question:
We have an old cookie jar that has been in my husband’s family for at least 60 years. They always called "him" Mr. Cookie. Could be a family nick name or something from the manufacturer. The bottom is stamped with Red Wing USA and has a printed script of Red Wing USA with additional undistinguishable writing.
Hip to hip(his widest area) is 8.5". the base is 6.5" high, with the top on he is 11.25" high at the top of his baker’s hat.He is in perfect condition…no chips, no fading, no discoloration. His caramel colored glaze is smooth, no crazing. The accent touches on his face, hat, watchchain, feet are darker brown. The interior is also in perfect shape…and smells faintly of the chocolate chip cookies he was known to store. Any information you can provide about Mr Cookie would be appreciated. I also understand that this is Christmas week and I don’t expect a quick reply. Happy Holidays to you and yours.

It has a handle from the rim down to the center of the vase and is stamped RED WING POTTERIES INC. on the bottom. How old is it and how much might it be worth?

Vase beigh or tan – emailed for more info

Question:
I have a vase, beige or sand or tan colored, whatever you want to call it, with a light green interior glaze,13" tall, with a ‘swirl’ design worked in. It’s about 9" in diameter at 5" tall, then curves in so the neck and opening is 3.5" in diameter. Does this have some value, or is something to send to GoodWill? Janet Melby
