Question:
Hello, I recently came across a framed chart of Red Wing Stoneware. It is approx. 23 3/4" tall and 15" wide. Says "Red Wing Stoneware and stoneware specialties" on top and "Red Wing Union Stoneware Co. Red Wing, Minnesota" on bottom. It has well over 100 pieces of different stoneware items. Everything from a christmas tree stand, jardiniers, coffee urn liners, pitchers, water coolers, self draining jars, koverware, spitoons, ewers and basins, and many more. Some I did not even know were made by red wing. Under each piece it has a figure #, name, a little info, and the sizes available. It is framed and there is a sticker on the front that say’s circa, 1931. It is on yellowed heavy paper stock and I see no dates. Just wondering if this is real or a reproduction, and if it was for a store display or salesman piece. If it is original can you give me a approx. value. Thank you so much for your time. Love your website. Thanks Dale.

Answer: Dale, the orginal poster was 23" wide by 35 " long. This is not to say that your version is not orginal as smaller ones could have been printed, however, I do not have any records showing your size. These posters where used in hardware stores so customers could see the different lines of Red Wing ware and order items not carried by the stores. The orginal posters can sell anywhere from $75 to $100 depending on condition. Al Kohlman
