Question:
Can you please identify this pattern? I have been trying for years with no luck.I only have this oval platter which is 15 1/4" x 10 1/2". There is one long brown branch with yellow-green and green flowers. Small branches and flower buds are blue-green. Scalloped edge plate is outlined around the inside oval in yellow-green. Background is cream colored. The mark on back is in red and says Redwing handpainted. Thank you for your help. Denise

Answer: The shape is known as Dynasty and the pattern is named Plum Blossom. This pattern was made in yellow and pink versions. Collectors usually refer to your pattern as "Plum Blossom Yellow". Plum Blossom was introduced in the last half of 1950 and was discontinued in late 1952 or in 1953.
