Question:
Am wondering if you can give me information on the piece of Red Wing I found while rummaging thru my late mothers things. I seem to remember this piece but is the only piece in my possession. Not sure of age or pattern name. The number on the bottom of the bowl is 110, as well. Dimensions are approx. 8"X9" oval.

Answer: The name of your pattern is Tampico, one of several patterns in the Futura shape. Your bowl is a nappy, used to serve vegetables or other side dishes. Tampico was introduced in 1995 and was one of Red Wing’s better selling patterns. It continued to be made until the pottery closed in 1967. Value for your nappy would be $20-25, assuming excellent condition.
