Question:

Hello my name is Keith. I found this jug while digging a new foundation for a house. The house that I tore down was around a 100 years old, it was on Manitou Island on White Bear Lake,  Minnesota. I found it along with a bunch of other really cool glass bottles. It says Minnesota Stoneware on the bottom but I can’t make out what the rest of it says. I was wondering what I truly have here and the worth of it?

Keith, you have a Minnesota Stoneware Company salt glazed dome top jug.  With the staining on the side, but bottom stamped (this is a plus), the value is around $75.   Al Kohlman
