Question:
I have a stoneware Hruska chicago ill. advertising butter crock that was my grandmas.It measures 8 3/4″ across & 6 3/4″ high.Bold blue lettering & bands as per photos attached. it has one small chip the size of a small finger nail on the bottom of crock & a small 1/2″ chip on inside of lip, also a 1/2″ pit on back of lip. no other damage , no cracks, beautiful piece. Can u give me all info you can including value & how to describe this piece? I am looking to probably put this piece up for auction or sale. Looking forward to your expert opinion. Thank you,

Richards, Red Wing Hruska & Co butter crock is one of the more decorative butter crocks. It was produced in the late 1920′s to early 30′s. With the chips, the value is between $1000 & $1500. Nice piece. Al Kohlman
