Question:
I have a large (over 70 pieces) collection of 1800 -1910 blue spongeware (bowls, pitchers, plates, cups, mush cups and saucers, etc.) that I would like to sell. It would be terrific to sell as a collection or in pieces. I know the market is down, however, I assume there is still an inherent value to these items. Is there any suggestion as to how to go about this most efficiently? I tried eBay but had lackluster results. Any direction on this is greatly appreciated. The picture attached is only a portion of the collection and I also have brown Bennington ware from the early 20th Century to sell.
