Question:
I have been collecting Red Wing pottery since ’94 but, I’m no narrowing down my collection to certain colors and patterns. So, I’m in the process of selling a few of my pieces. One piece I bought about 10 years ago is an oblong bowl, with a corn blue/purple glaze on it. At one time the color was referred to as "hyacinth" and was considered rare. Since i’m trying to sell it, is it considered a rare color and what would be a good selling price? thanks for your help! stephanie ok, i have tried to upload a picture twice, and it doesn’t go through. i think it’s too big. so if i could email it to you seperately that would be great. thanks
