We have two of these large crocks that have a single hole in the bottom. The pictures shows these crocks upside down. They are Red Wing 10gal. What is this item called? Thanks, Tim

 

 

 

Answer: Tim, I have seen the photos of your 10 gallon Red Wing pieces. These are 10 gallon Red Wing Steam inserts for restaurant or cafeteria’s. They were used to keep soups, coffee and other liquids hot. They were produced in the 1930′s. Al Kohlman
