Question:
I have a crock with a blue crown and 50 inside of it. I cannot find anything online about a crock of this size. I believe it is a ransbottom crock. I bought it at a rummage sale and wondering what its value is and its history. I dont have a picture of it but it is white on outside, the rim is unglazed and the inside is brown. It is very heavy. I know its not a redwing but would appreicate any help. Jacob
Answer: Jacob, you are correct, it is an Ohio crock and not Red Wing. Not being Red Wing, I just have no idea of it’s history or value. Al Kohlman
