Question:
I am going to an auction on Sat. Aug.20th. and they have a 12 gallon redwing crock with wire handles, oval redwing stamp and large wing. It appears to be in average condition from the auction picture. I want to add this to my collection if the price is right. Can’t find it in the new DePasquale/Peterson book. Can someone give me some idea what it is worth. I am a member of the rewing society. Larry

Answer: Larry, I am afraid that I am a little late to help you out with your question. 12 gallon Red Wing crocks are a little tougher to find than most of the other sizes. They can range in value from $200 to $300 depending on markings and conditon. Al Kohlman
