Question:
I have an 8 gallon crock that belonged to my grandmother. The unusual thing about this piece is there is no Red Wing stamp on it. Does that make it more valuable? The crock is in good condition with a chip on the bottom and a borderline crack. Steve
Answer: Steve, your 8 gallon Red Wing crock without the red wing is an oddity. With the chip and crack, I would place the value around $100. So yes the value is higher without the wing. Al Kohlman
