Question:
I have a red wing 4 gallon crock and I am curious of it’s age and value. It is around 12 inches tall, and 11 inches wide. There is only the number 4, and a red bird wing on the crock. No other markings. No cracks, chips, etc.. Just a few scuff marks. Jeff
Answer: Jeff, your 4 gallon Red Wing crock was produced between 1909 & 1936. Value is around $100 without the oval. These pieces without the oval are much tougher to find than those that have ovals. Al Kohlman
