Question:
2 large crocks,#10,below that redwing stamp below that blue circle redwing onion stoneware co red wing minn,with handles,next #20 same decription as above no handles but has old wire with turnscrew.on the #10 on the upper outside it looks like a stamp patent pending 1912. What can you tell me about them. Dan
Answer: Dan, your Red Wing 10 gallon crock was produced between 1915 & 1947, In perfect condition the value can run between $100 & 175. Your 20 gallon was produced between 1895 & 1915. With the old wire and turn screw, I am betting that this crock as a crack or hairline in it. This is why they usually place a wire around it to stop the crack or hairline from expanding. With all this being said, I just can’t place a value on it without knowing it’s condition. Al Kohlman
