One half gal brown top jug, always thought it to be a Red Wing, but unmarked . No chips or hairline cracks. Can you tell its age & value? Dave

Answer: Dave, I can tell you that your smallest brown top jug is not Red Wing. I am not sure on the larger one. There were a number of companies that made these and I would need a photo of where the handle attaches to the jug to tell for sure. However, with no decorations or advertising the value if Red Wing or not is only around $10 to $15. Al Kohlman
