In your experience and opinion on stoneware where did this originate and what date and estimated value may be placed on this stoneware pot. I will send another photo of this as I do not know how to upload more than one photo. thanks Addy

 

Answer: Addy, your 5 gallon Red Wing Imperial crock was produce in Red Wing Minn by the Red Wing Stoneware Company. The Imperial stamp indicates that it was produced for some company in Canada. Instead of holding 5 US gallons, your 5 gallon crock is measured in liters (1.4 liters makes a gallon). Your imperial crock was manufactured between 1912 to 1915 or so. Value is between $75 & $100.
