Question:
I have a 50-gallong red wing crock and great condition. The question I have is that it has a spigot on it. "Did it come from the manufacture with the spigot on it, or was this post-manufacture added?" I do not know if it could be worth more or less, because of the spigot? Lynn

Answer: Lynn, your 50 gallon Red Wing crock did not come with a spigot when it was originally purchased. This was added on later. Most collectors will remove the spigot as these are not that attractive on the crock. Also, the risk of damaging the crock with the spigot attached while moving it is quite great. The spigot will not ad any value to your 50 gallon crock, but you should have it available to the buyer if you plan to sell it.. Hope this helps answer your question. Al Kohlman
