Question:
I have purchased a batter jug from an estate auction. I like the piece as it is unusual and something that I have not seen before. I am having a difficult time identifying whom the manufactuer of the pieces is however. The jug is an usual shape that was original molded in two pieces. I thought that it is possible that it could be an early minnesota stoneware piece and was wondering if you could provide me with any information as to whom the maker could have been. The piece has seashells where the bale handle ataches to the pot that i find to be unique and neat. Please provide any information that you may have about the piece and an appoximate value shoud you know one. Thanks for your assistance!!! Jason

Answer: Jason, the only information I can give you is that your jug is not Red Wing. Just have no idea of maker or value. Al Kohlman
