Hello. I purchased this large mouth bail handled jug recently. It is about 25 inches in circumference at the seam and 10 inces tall. It is in nice condition except a couple of small chips and some crazing. It is marked Red Wing Stoneware Co. on the bottom with the Red Wing arched and the word Stoneware straight across. Is this a fruit jar? Could you please tell me a value on this piece? Thanks, Gary

Answer: Gary, you have a Red Wing bail handled jug. This jug with the wide spout was mostly used to store Tomato juice. Value would be in the range of $50 to $70. Al Kohlman
