Question:
Greetings. I have a redwing cherryband pitcher I am trying to determine the age and value of. The pitcher is about 5 1/4 inches tall and about 3 inches across, not including the lip. It is marked on the bottom with a blue circle, inside of circle reads, Redwing Stoneware Co. Redwing MN. There is a small wing in the center of circle. The pitcher is in perfect condition. Answer: Jane, you do not have a vintage piece of Red Wing. Yours is a reproduction piece produced by the new Red Wing Stoneware Company. I can tell this by the circle you described on the bottom of the Cherry Band Pitcher. Also, vintage Cherry Band Pitchers are never signed. Being a reproduction, I just have no idea of value.
