Question:
I have 3 pieces of Red Wing Pottery. One is a dark brown jug with small handle, diameter 7 3/4 in., height 8 1/2 in., with RED WING MINNISOTA STONEWARE CO on the bottom. The other 2 pieces are Refrigerator Jars, 1 is 5 1/2 in., the other 6 1/2 in. in diameter. There is a Red Wing Collectors Society gathering in Des Moines this next weekend. Just wondering if these pieces are worth taking and possibly putting on the auction? Thanks you for your help.

Answer: Your small brown Red Wing jug that is marked on the bottom has a value around $60. This is quite common and would not bring much at the auction. Your Red Wing refrigerator jars are less common and could fetch up to $200 each at a good auction. Al Kohlman
