This piece has been in the family for quite a while and was wondering how much it could be worth and to know some to the history of it. There is also another piece that we have that has a number 12 on it just below the rim. Jessie
Answer: Jessie, I can only comment on your 4 gallon Red Wing crock as a crock with just the number 12 could be from another stoneware company. Your 4 gallon Red Wing crock was produced between 1909 & 1915. Value is between $75 & $90. Al Kohlman
