I believe this is a 3 gallon beehive pot with the 3 and the lazy 8 design. I cannot find a redwing seal anywhere on the jug. There are no chips and it is in god condition. I have included a picture of the handle. Is there any other way to determine if it is a Redwing? What do you think is the value the piece? Thanks so much for your help. Christine

Answer: Christine, your 3 gallon salt glaze jug with lazy 8 is Red Wing. Value is around $300. The value is do to the design. The lazy 8 is very common and other stoneware companies used it as well. So with the large number of these lazy 8′s the value will be much lower than those of leaves, rib cages or butterflies. Al Kohlman
