I have this 8 Gal, RW water cooler. it appears to be hand thrown though i could be wrong it does not have handles nor is there a place for them and there is a cork where the spigot would be. no chips. there is a crack shaped like a crow foot to the left of the red wing. as u can see in the picture and there is no lid. would love to know more about this interesting piece. Answer: Zac, you do indeed have an eight gallon Red Wing hand turned water cooler. This is the early cooler style before Red Wing started to have them molded. The lid for this cooler would be an 8 gallon Red Wing button lid that would be very expensive if you can find one to purchase ($1000 to $1200) for your cooler. Value on your cooler is a little low because of the spider type crack in the front. $350 to $450 in today’s market. Al Kohlman
