We have 2 crocks. the 10 gal crock has a large wing and the 4 gal crock has a small wing. Does wing size indicate age? Dean
Answer: Dean, the size of the red wing does indeed indicate age along with a few other factors such as handles and ovals. The larger wings were produced between 1909 & 1930. The small wings between 1930 & 1947. Hope this is what you were looking for. Al Kohlman
