Question:
I have a 15 gal red wing union stoneware crock with lid. The handles and not cracked on the crock or lid. It is in excellent shape. The lid has flower petals forming a flower around the handle. I was wondering how old it is, and how much it is worth. Jill

Answer: Jill, if your 15 gallon Red Wing crock has handles, then it was produced between 1915 & 1947. A perfect 15 gallon Red Wing crock would have a value between $150 & $250. All depends on the size of the red wing and how well marked. The 15 gallon lid would have a value between $200 $ $250. The closer the color of the lid matches the color of the crock the higher the value. Al Kohlman
