Question:
i found these at a garage sale and was really wondering about the one with the brick moulding, the pitcher is clearly marked red wing and i think it’s worth about $20, both are in absolute pristine condition. Some guy tried to buy the brick mould butter crock, he said it was very rare, i have not sold it and really want to know what it is, it is not marked any where i can tell. thanks suge
Answer: Your estimate for the value of the Village Green pitcher is accurate. I know nothing about the butter crock; perhaps our stoneware expert is familiar with this design.
Larry
will pass this onto our stoneware expert, but I do believe Red Wing did do a few of the "brick" pattern butters. thanks, steve n rose

Suge, the brick pattern butter crock is not Red Wing. I have no idea of which pottery may have produced it. Al Kohlman
