Question:
I have these 3 Red Wing Stoneware and looking for what they could be worth. Attached are pics of them and also one (2 gal.)of a stoneware made by Western Stoneware if you know of anyone that can tell me about that company. I have a western Stoneware 30 gal. (no pic yet) also. Thank You for your help.
Howard
Answer: Howard, the first thing you need to do if you are going to put these crocks up for sale is to clean them up. Collectors won’t even look at them as they will be afraid of any damage that may be hid by the dirt. I can see from the photo that your 6 gallon Red Wing has damage. Value on the 6 will be around $30 to $40. The 4 gallon if perfect is around $50 to $60 and the 15 between $100 & $125. Any damage and you can cut the value in half and maybe more. As far as the Western Stoneware pieces go, I just have not a clue. I do not collect Western and have no idea of their values or history. Hope this helps some. Al Kohlman
