Hi Al, Can you tell me if this is indeed a Red Wing butter churn lid? It came with my 4 gallon churn. From the top it appears the same as my other churn lids with the tapered style, but the underside has extra molding around the dasher hole. The undersides of my other Red Wing lids have a concave style that runs all the way to the hole. There is a "4" embossed on the top. Did Red Wing make different variations of churn lids? Answer: Chris, you have a Minnesota Stoneware Company churn lid. Minnesota Stoneware Company has these little cup type build-ups by the hole where the Red Wing Stoneware did not. Value is the same as the Red Wing lids. Al Kohlman
