Question:
I believe this is a Fort Dodge Iowa/ Red Wing crock. It has the Fort Dodge gallon mark and Red Wing birch leaf mark. It has no damage or repairs of any kind. It measures 16 inches tall by 16 inch diam. Can you give me an idea of it’s desirability, and current market value. Was it made in the early 1900′s? Thanks so much for any thoughts, I really appreciate this site and use it to reference other pieces I have collected. Jason

Answer: Jason, Red Wing purchased the Plymouth Cly Products company of Fort Dodge, Iowa and operated it from 1909 to 1911. The market value is not all that high. Your piece would be valued between $70 & $80. Al Kohlman
