Question:
I have a 4 gallon elephant ear Union Stoneware crock. There is a small chip at the base and under one of the molded handles – no cracks though. I’ve attached a couple of pictures. Can you tell me an approximate value? Thanks. Pat
Answer: Pat, you have the earlier elephant ear 4 gallon crock with the Albany Slip inside. With the ecomony being down, the elephant ear pieces have suffered in value. With the two minor chips. the value today is between $100 & $150 for your piece. Al Kohlman
