Question:
My sister and I believe the crock we have is a Red Wing from at least the 1950′s or earlier. Please give me as much information as you can. Thanks, Greg

Answer: Greg, your crock looks to be a 3 gallon Red Wing beehive jug (from what I can see and my best guess). If there is not a handle attached to a smaller spout, then it is a butter churn. If it is a beehive jug, then it was manufactured between 1900 & 1917. Value is between $300 & $350 in mint condition. If it is a Red Wing 3 gallon Butter churn, it would have been manufactured between 1915 & 1930 or so. Value would be around $150 in mint condition. Hope this helps. Al Kohlman
