Question:
My aunt has a small black pottery bowl with swan-neck handles (2) and the bird’s feathered body attached to the sides of the pot. The bottom of the bowl contains only patterns of dots. Could you tell us the maker, use and approximate value? Thank you. Brenda

Answer: Brenda, I am afraid that all I can tell you is that your piece is not Red Wing. It could be a piece of Art Pottery or even a bean pot. Have never seen this style before and just have no idea of who made it or what it may be. Al Kohlman
