Question:
Please give me an estimate on my Red Wing Christmas Jug. It has "Christmas 1882" etched on one side and base inscription "Red Wing Stoneware Company. It has an 8 inch, brown-glazed handle. I have not found anything similar in any book. Thanks Jay
Answer: Jay, I have never seen this style of jug before myself. Could you send a photo of the bottom signature. If this is not a reproduction, It would then most likely be a lunch hour piece. Never seeing or hearing of one like this, I just have no idea of it’s value. Al Kohlman
