Question:
I have a 3 piece set of pottery that was handed down by my Great Grandmother. They are in mint condition, no chips at all. The marking are clear on all three pieces that say Fire Clay, Star. The three pieces are a set and they nest together. They are 10" across the top.The large bottom bowl had a metal bail on the pot.Any information would be helpful. My great grandmother was given this by her mother for a wedding gift. My grandmother was born in 1890. Lisa Coleman

Answer: Lisa, the only information I can give you is that your great grandmothers bowls are not Red Wing. I do not know the manufacturer, so I am of little help in that area. Al Kohlman
