I have a 1 gallon jug with John Baum Liquors stamped on it. It has a syrup style top. Would this be a more desirable piece than the normal John Baum? Thanks, Brad.

Answer: Brad, there are quite a few John Baum Liquor jugs around, so the value is reflected by the numbers. A syrup jug may have a $25 higher value than the 1/2. 1 or 2 gallon jug. However, if a person needed the 2 gallon to complete a set, then the 2 would carry a higher value. So it depends on what a collector is looking for. Value would be between $200 & $250 in today’s markets. Al Kohlman
