I have a 5 gallon red wing pottery crock with the 5 in blue the the big red wing and then info on the front. It has a chunk missing around the rim. What does that do to value and can it be fixed? Thanks Julie

Answer: Julie, that chunk or large chip out of the front of your 5 gallon Red Wing crock hurts it’s value quite a bit. Value would be around $25 to $30 at best. That large chuck could be repaired. However, 5 gallon Red Wing crocks are quite common, plus collectors are not fond on repairs. So I would not put the money into a repair, unless you wanted to keep it for sentimental reasons.
