I just received a 1915 redwing union stoneware co. Big 4 gal pot Patented 1915… Mint condition… I ran across your site. Did I find a treasure? I am not sure what it is?? Heather
Answer: Heather, you have a Red Wing 4 gallon crock with handles. The Dec 21st, 1915 patent date is for the handles. Red Wing put a patent date on these handles to prevent other stoneware companies from copying their handles. Value in perfect condition is between $60 & $75. All depends on condition and how well marked. Al Kohlman
