I have a pair of these jars, measuring 6 1/4 inches tall with lid in place, 5 1/2 inches without lid and 4 3/4 inches wide at bottm. One is marked RWS co, the other Red Wing Minn S co. Rick
Answer: Rick, you have a Red Wing & Minnesota Stoneware Company Safety Valve jars. They came in three sizes 1 gal, 1/2 gal & 1 qt. You have the quart sizes. In mint condition and bottom signed the values are between $100 & $125. Al Kohlman
