Question:
Got this 15 gallon crock. In mint condition. No hairlines, no cracks. It also has little specks of blue throughout the piece. Looks like I believe is called spongeware in some areas of the crock. Very neat!! The blue specks matches the blue on the number. Would like to have some info and the value on this very nice crock. Brian
Answer: Brian, your 15 gallon (blocked 15) Red Wing crock with the 6 inch wing is very nice. I would place the value between $200 & $250. It is an early piece (between 1909 & 1912 or so) Al Kohlman
