Bought this 4 gallon crock at auction, believe it is red wing, the bottom marking make me believe red wing, but the number 4, and the markings above the number make me wonder, please advise, thank you. (Woody)
Answer: Woody, your 4 gallon salt glazed crock is not Red Wing. It was produced by the Western Stoneware Company out of Illinois. Al Kohlman
