Question:
I just bought this crock and was trying to find out more about it. It is a no. 2 salt glazed pot that I think is redwing from what I have been able to research. It seems to be in perfect condition. The blue design is like a bullseye with a tail coming down out of it. It is a darker brown than most crocks and does not have any other markings other than the blue 2 and bullseye. The lip is rounded with a circle below it and the glaze is dark brown. There is a clear pattern of glaze running down on the outside and it is of coarse texture.
