We have the opportunity to buy a 12 gal. Red Wing crock. We have another friend who has a lid for a 12 gal. Red Wing crock. Would having the lid increase the value of the crock, if we had both and by how much would it increase that value? Bill

Answer: Bill, the lid would not increase the value of the crock. Normally when you sell a crock and lid you would split them. The lid along for a 12 gallon crock would sell between $200 & $225. If you sold it with the crock you would take the value of the crock and then add the lid value to it. Al Kohlman
