Question:
I have a 20 gallon Red Wing crock that was left in my garage when I moved into the house. It was 3 large stress cracks in it with a 2 1/2 inch chip on the rim. In the picture you’ll see that the previous owner placed some type of a chain around it. I’m hoping this isn’t holding it together – I don’t think it is but I’m not sure. Is this piece worth anything with this type of damage? Thank you.

Answer: The way this crock looks in the picture, there is little to no value to it. Now if you removed the chain, cleaned it up and secured the cracks, you could have a $30 to $50 value. Al Kohlman
