Dear Al, I’ve recently come across 2 more sponge bowls exactly like the 5" I asked you about. One is 6 1/2" and the other is 7 1/2". The colors are the same and they are both paneled and in mint condition. Could you please advise me on what they’re worth? I don’t have photo’s but you can look at my recent question and the only difference is the lip diameter which I mentioned above. Thank you.

Answer: Your 6 & 7 inch Red Wing panelled spongeware bowls will have a value around $150 today. Now if the advertising is rare, then the value goes up. If it is quite common or no name of a town, the value will drop. So there is some variables. Al Kohlman
