I would like to know the worth of a 10 gallon crock with lid. The crock has a large blue 10 and below that is a brown wing that measures 5 1/2 inches diagonally. Below is the blue oval that reads Red Wing Union Stoneware Co. Red Wing, Minn. The lid is domed with a flat top knob that has an upside down V then an O. Below that is either 1 2 or 12. I did not know about Red Wing but this crock recently was given to me and it just looked like it was collectible.

Answer: Your 10 gallon Red Wing crock sounds like it has a 6 inch wing. The value in mint condition would be around $150 for just the crock. Now your description of the lid has me puzzled. I am not sure if it is a Red Wing lid or a lid from another stoneware company. For this reason, I cannot give you a honest value. Send me a photo of the lid and I will be happy to help you out.
